Depositing Funds via Cryptocurrency

Learn how to add funds to your OCT24 account using supported cryptocurrencies.

OCT24 allows users to add funds by sending supported cryptocurrencies (such as USDT) to a deposit address generated specifically for their account. To ensure deposits are processed correctly, it is important to match the selected network, currency, and minimum amount before sending any transfer.

This guide explains the deposit process step by step and highlights common points to check to avoid delays or failed deposits.

Before You Start (Important)

Before making a deposit, please note the following:

Network must match

If you select a specific network on OCT24 (for example, TRON / TRC20), you must send funds using the same network from your external wallet or exchange.

Currency must match

If you select a specific cryptocurrency (for example, USDT), you must send that exact asset. Sending a different token may result in the deposit not being credited.

Minimum amount matters

Each network and currency combination may have a minimum deposit requirement. Sending an amount below the minimum may lead to delayed processing or may not be credited, depending on network and provider rules.

Step-by-Step Deposit Process

1. Open the Deposit Page

From the sidebar, go to Wallet β†’ Deposit, then select Cryptocurrency as the deposit method.

2. Select the Network

Use Select Network to choose the blockchain network you will send funds from (for example, Tron / TRC20).

Tip: External wallets and exchanges also offer multiple network options (such as ERC20, TRC20, BEP20). Always select the same network on both sides.

3. Select the Cryptocurrency

In Select a Cryptocurrency, choose the asset you intend to send (for example, USDT).

4. Enter the Deposit Amount

In Enter Deposit Amount, input the amount you plan to transfer.

This step helps:

  • Generate the correct deposit address and QR code
  • Confirm that the amount meets the minimum requirement for the selected network and asset
  • Display any relevant information before proceeding

Best practice:

If you are unsure about minimum requirements, enter the intended amount first and confirm it meets the platform’s displayed rules for that network and asset.

5. Get Your Deposit Address

Click Get deposit wallet to display:

  • Your deposit address
  • A QR code
  • A copy button for the address

This address is used to receive your deposit.

6. Send From Your Wallet or Exchange

From your external wallet or exchange:

  • Paste the deposit address (or scan the QR code)
  • Select the same network
  • Send the same cryptocurrency
  • Send an amount equal to or above the minimum

7. Track Deposit Status

Scroll to Deposit History to check the status of your transfer:

  • Pending – Network confirmations are still in progress
  • Success – Deposit credited successfully
  • Failed – Requirements were not met (commonly due to network or asset mismatch, or amount below minimum)

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Sending a different asset than selected (for example, sending USDC instead of USDT)
  • Sending funds below the minimum required amount
  • Using a different network than the one selected on OCT24

If Your Deposit Is Not Reflected

Before contacting support, please confirm:

  • The network matches exactly (for example, TRC20 vs ERC20)
  • The cryptocurrency matches exactly
  • The amount meets the minimum requirement

If all details are correct and the deposit remains pending after normal network confirmation times, contact OCT24 Support and provide:

  • Transaction Hash (TxID)
  • Network and asset used
  • Amount sent
  • Time of transfer

Important Notes

  • Deposits are processed based on blockchain confirmations
  • Processing times may vary depending on network conditions
  • OCT24 does not control external networks or confirmation speeds
